ISO 18001 – Health and Safety

Reflection Cleaning fastidiously comply with all responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work act. It is company policy to provide and maintain such conditions and systems of work for all employees. We also recognise and accept that it is our responsibility for the Health and Safety of others that may be affected by our actions and activities.

All of our staff members are:

fully trained, with all certificates on file and available for inspection at any time
fully trained in chemical dilution rates and are Cosh trained prior to commencing any duties
have attended first aid training courses, and are fully proficient at first aid for themselves and others

Water Containment Systems

We are compliant with the ISO 14001 standard, which means we utilise an effective environmental management system to diminish the risk of water contamination and pollution. The chemicals we use have won the Gold Green Apple Award for environmental best practice and we have developed an innovative system for water containment on sites with drainage issues that allow us to carry out our tasks within the regulations required of us by the Environment Agency guidelines.

Waste Water Containment System

Reflection Cleaning are true innovators in our field, our having spent years developing our own in house bespoke waste system containment system. Not only do we meet Goverment Agency guidelines, but we exceed them at each and every turn.

Waste Water Containment and Disposal

We use innovative techniques to contain and remove all chemicals and waste water making our services ideal for sites with drainage issues.

We have developed this special system to work in accordance with the Environment Agency’s guidelines on fleet cleaning & commercial lorry / truck and vehicle cleaning to be fully compliant with the regional water companies’ systems and regulations.

How it Works

A member of the Reflection Cleaning team will perform and site survey to determine the layout of the site and the equipment required for the job. Here’s what happens next:

We use portable diverters, drain mats and blockers to ensure the water and chemicals run down a particular drain or into a collection point.
After cleaning, we pump the effluent into sealed containers to remove it from your site.
We issue you with a signed and dated waste transfer note before we leave.
We transport the effluent to one of our sites where we have consent to discharge.
